The vast majority of the courses are completed online, except for your in-person Advanced Training Programs once or twice per year.

In Year 1,  you will be given the option to attend in-person or study online where available. For Year 2 onwards, some of the Advanced Training Programs are currently only available in person. The maximum number of in-person courses are two per intake and the majority of the ATP's are for a period of 5 days.

We recommend anywhere between 6 - 8 hours per week to dedicate to your studies for most of our students; however, that is dependent upon each person’s individual learning style.

No! We have Academy students on almost every continent on the planet and we welcome students from wherever they live.

The vast majority of our courses and workshops are online, so as long as you have an internet connection, you can study. Our Advanced Training Programs are usually live courses though. To complete those, you will have to travel to either the US, Canada, the UK, or Australia depending upon course availability.

Yes, travel and accommodation costs will need to be covered at your own expense.

It is! The Academy will provide you with all the knowledge you need to begin a career in the health and fitness industry and allow you to study while you earn.

You will gain certificates of completion of each level of the Holistic Lifestyle Coaching series and Integrated Movement Science series which form part of the CHEK Career Path.

At the end of the three years, you will have gained qualification as a CHEK Practitioner Level 3. You will then have the option to continue your studies on to Years 4 and 5 when you can train to become a Master CHEK Practitioner.

The opportunities as a CHEK Practitioner are extremely flexible and can be applied to a whole host of career paths. Depending on your ultimate dream, you can apply your training wherever feels best for you. Some examples of careers that our graduates have created for themselves from our training are:

• Owning their own gym space or wellness center

• Holistic Lifestyle Coaching remotely or in person

• Wellness Specialist in corporate settings

• Working with athletes 

• More bang for your buck! - The Academy works out substantially cheaper than buying the courses individually. On average, our students can save up to 15% off their studies. 
• Even more discounts - as an Academy student, you will also receive 15% off on courses not included in the Academy curriculum (this excludes CHEK tools). 
• Built-in mentorship - We host regular group mentorship calls and have our helpful Academy Coordinators on hand ready to help you along your journey.
• Community spirit - You will get exclusive access to our Academy social page where you can connect with your fellow Academy students, as well as being added into the WhatsApp community.
• Business training - as part of your Academy studies, we provide you with the knowledge and tools to build a successful business out of your education.

• Earn while you learn -  we designed the Academy to be accessible for everyone, so that you can work full-time while also studying to become a CHEK Practitioner.

We do offer the option to postpone your studies for up to 6 months (taking a gap year) during the course of your three year studies. While this isn’t something we recommend due to its potential disruption to your study momentum, we understand that life can get in the way, so we offer the option to postpone when necessary. 

Please note that we do not accept mid-year postponement requests and you would need to submit your postponement application at least 30 days into the new academic year to qualify.

Cancellation is only permitted at the end of the Academic Year. It is calculated based on the monetary difference between the full cost of the courses delivered within the academic plan and the 20% discount applied to course value within the academy fee, plus the cost of transfer out of live ATP classes pre-allocated to Academy students at the beginning of the academic year.

Your deposit will be deducted from your final academy payment at the end of the 36 months.

While Paul teaches some of the higher lever classes, he isn’t able to dedicate the time to teaching all our Academy classes. However, we have an excellent team of CHEK Faculty members who have all been through the CHEK Career Path and have years of experience in the industry.

Yes, you get a CHEK license upon completing each Academy year, and the $60 annual renewal fee is waived while you are enrolled in the Academy. 

No, we do not issue those forms as we are not an accredited university.
